A message from Barrett: "Lots of folks have asked me recently why the down tick in shows? Well there's a really simple answer.....fatherhood! In Feb of 2012 my wife and I welcomed our son Brooks into our family. As most parents understand, the first year is a whirlwind. My plan has always been to throttle back on booking during my sons first year so I can focus on fatherhood and continue to develop material for the new record I hope to release in 2013. 2013 is just around the corner and I still plan on releasing a new full band project in late spring early summer. My gig schedule should pick up a little in the early part of 2013 and I hope to get out on the road during the summer of 2013 and get to some cities that I've never played in. So there you have it folks, a little update from double B. As always I owe you a big thank you for your continued support of my music. It's a real kick to know that people support and appreicate the art that I try to create. Thanks - B
